Vinhos - Vinhos Brancos - Alentejo Branco

The vast Alentejo territory is divided into three districts (Portalegre, Évora and Beja) that together form the natural borders of the Alentejo regional wine. The existence of an enormous diversity of grape varieties and marked regional differences, in the soils, shale, granite, rolled pebbles, limestones and clays predominate. Alentejo wines are characteristic for their fruit and seductive, their smoothness, and the consistency that they kill after harvest is very important. There are numerous grape varieties planted in the Alentejo soil, however the most relevant are: Wardrobe, Antão Vaz, Arinto, Trincadeira, Aragonez, Castelão and Alicante Bouschet (a French variety that has adopted the Alentejo climate).
